View all FAQsA: It's worth noting that Ralph Jacobs does not plate their jewelry, which means that the metal you choose will remain the same color over time. However, white gold is an exception to this rule, as it is naturally a light yellowish color. To achieve the bright white color commonly associated with white gold, Ralph Jacobs rhodium plates their white gold rings. This plating is a temporary solution and may wear off over time, which can be reapplied if desired.

A: Ralph Jacobs Engagement Rings come preset with a 1-carat diamond equivalent weight (DEW) zirconia as the center stone. The DEW is a way to describe the size of the zirconia, as it has the same visual appearance as a 1-carat diamond. Use the “Buy Now” button in order to purchase the ring pre-set with a Zirconia at the price show on the product page. However, if you prefer a different type of center stone, Ralph Jacobs offers the option to customize your piece by adding a natural diamond, lab-grown diamond, or moissanite as the center stone instead of the preset zirconia. Use the “Add Gemstone” button in order to purchase the ring design and select a Diamond or Moissanite as center stone.

A: Selecting the correct ring size is crucial when purchasing an engagement ring, as it ensures a comfortable fit and prevents the need for resizing later on. At Ralph Jacobs, we understand the importance of getting the right size and offer two options to help you find the perfect fit.
If you're unsure about your ring size, you can choose the "Confirm Later" option when placing your order. This allows you to proceed with your purchase without selecting a specific size. After you've completed your order, we will reach out to you to confirm the size you need beforewe manufacture your ring.
Alternatively, you can opt to receive a free ring sizer from Ralph Jacobs to measure your ring size at home. The sizer is simple and easy to use and provides an accurate measurement of your finger size. This allows you to proceed with your purchase without selecting a specific size. After you've completed your order, we will reach out to you to schedule the delivery of the Free Ring Sizer.

A: Ralph Jacobs Engagement Rings are crafted with the utmost attention to detail and quality. To ensure that each ring is customized to your specific preferences and measurements, we manufacture our engagement rings per order, and do not keep stock of pre-made rings. This means that once you place an order, We begin the manufacturing process, which may take between 15 to 20 working days.
The manufacturing process takes this long because we design the ring to your specific ring size and center stone preference. We also take the time to ensure that each ring is crafted to our exacting quality standards, which requires careful attention to detail and precision. The availability of the center stone you've selected can also affect the manufacturing time, as we may need to source the stone before we can complete your ring.
While the manufacturing time may seem lengthy, Ralph Jacobs offers a rush order option for an additional cost of R1500. However, the delivery of your ring is still dependent on the availability of the center stone you've selected. Rush orders are prioritized, but the production process still requires the same level of attention and quality to ensure that your ring is of the highest standard.
It's important to note that, while Ralph Jacobs strives to complete each order within their estimated timeline, unforeseen delays can sometimes occur. As such, it's NOT advisable to make any plans that depend on the delivery of your completed ring before you actually receive it.
At Ralph Jacobs, they are committed to creating high-quality, custom-made engagement rings that reflect your unique style and preferences. While the manufacturing process may take some time, the end result is a beautiful and enduring symbol of your love and commitment.
